Happy 4th of July 2017

This was one of the few years that we did not make it to Kansas City for the Skahan 4th of July family reunion. With the upcoming move and such, it just wasn't possible this year.

We started our 4th of July at a bike parade at Cathedral. The boys enjoyed decorating their bikes for the parade.

After the parade around the school, we ended up on the playground for snacks and fellowship.


What a fun way to start the 4th of July holiday.


Then, we came home and let the boys do some of their fireworks.


Later in the evening, we were invited to a backyard picnic/neighborhood 4th of July party at one of Garytt's friend's houses. The kids all had a great time, especially Garytt and his buddy, Henry.
