Disney Day 5 - Epcot

We started the morning off bright and early at Epcot on November 16.

We spent the morning enjoying the rides at Epcot like Test Track and Spaceship Earth.

Garytt created his own green car on Test Track and he loved the ride.

Westyn was too short to ride Test Track but he loved exploring the real cars.

Garytt's favorite ride at Epcot was Spaceship Earth. He just loved the "silly heads" on the computer generated future.

Then we ventured back towards the worlds for lunch. On the way, we found a beautiful Christmas tree to get a photo in front of.

We ate in Germany at Oktoberfest. Our German heritage must run deep because we felt instantly at home, loved the food, and loved the entertainment.  But then, who doesn't love schnitzel and pretzel buns?!

After the afternoon break, we went to explore the worlds. The boys were able to color in each world. And I made a book similar to their autograph book so they could have a cast member from each world write them a note in their native language. It was pretty neat but the boys did get tired of it after a little while. They also got coins in each of the worlds.

We stayed for the evening show and fireworks.

We didn't take a lot of pictures during our time at Epcot but we really enjoyed our day!

Disney Day 4 Evening- Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom

Shira and Auggie stayed in the parks during the break time to enjoy some of the bigger rides like Expedition Everest.

When we arrived back to Animal Kingdom, we found a character spot just outside the gates. We got to meet Timon from the Lion King and Terk from Tarzan. (The sun was so incredibly bright it was hard for the boys to look at the camera.)

I also wanted to get a few photos in front of the Animal Kingdom gates since we didn't get a chance earlier in the day. Look at these "wild animals" I get to call my kids.

Then we noticed a Photopass person who could take a picture of all of us.

We headed through the gates to meet up with Shira and Auggie at Tusker House for an early character dinner. On our way we stopped to get a picture with Everest in the background. Garytt needed my sunglasses and Westyn couldn't take his eyes off the mountain.

We arrived at Tusker House and took a group shot before going inside to eat.

The kids all got to dance and do a conga line with the safari characters through the restaurant.

After our dinner, we went to see The Lion King show. It was just as impressive as it was the last time! Great show!

We decided to go back to Dinoland before the rides shut down to see if Triceratop Spin was working...and it was! It was the last ride of the night.

On our way out, we took some pictures with the Tree of Life at night.

Since Animal Kingdom closes much earlier than any of the other parks, we decided to hop over to see the Main Street Electrical Parade at Magic Kingdom. When I posted on Facebook that we were heading to Orlando a cousin of mine texted me and said that another cousin and her family were coming to Orlando a few days after us. So, I contacted them and we coordinated meeting up for the Electrical Parade. The Stoddard family already had a spot on the parade route. We found them and enjoyed the parade together. What a small world!

We had a nice view of the castle while we waited for the parade.

The parade started...then had a little delay. They actually had to bring in a little tractor to pull the float that Mickey was on. Despite the little hiccup, it was a great parade.

The kids really enjoyed the parade.

When the parade was over, it was time for us to head back to the condo for bed and the Stoddards went to enjoy some late night rides. It was so fun to see them there even if it was only for a little while.
