We headed back into Fantasyland to ride the Tea Cups from Alice in Wonderland. This is always a crowd favorite. Since I got to ride it earlier, I opted to watch and take pictures.
The boys looked a little bit wobbly when the ride is over.
They had so much fun that they wanted to ride it again. This time Shira opted to stay back and take pictures. We got into two tea cups because they said all 5 of them in one tea cup was a little crowded.
Not far from there was the carousel.
Our evening was very centered around Beauty and the Beast. We had Fastpass reservations for the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction. This was an attraction that we didn't do last time we came, and I really didn't even know what it was except that we heard we should really do it if we can get a Fastpass for it because the stand-by line is really long. It was so fun! So, they take a small group at a time into a room and talk about Belle's father, the inventor. Then a mirror turns into a doorway for all of us to walk through. Then they have the talking armoire from the movie. Inside she holds all the costumes needed to perform the story. Each child receives a costume or prop to be a part of the story. The boys didn't get any of the main parts but they were pretty happy being silverware (Garytt) and the salt shaker (Westyn).
We were then ushered into the next room where Lumiere was on the mantle and told us that Belle was coming in! Belle came in and met with each child. What a magical way to meet Belle!
The lady who introduced each of the kids actually pulled Auggie out of the audience last minute to introduce him to Belle as well. It was so special for her to include him! He even bowed to Belle. What a prince! You can tell from Auggie's smile that he loved meeting Belle!
We also received some pretty cool stock photos of the Beast and Belle after we claimed our photos from the Enchanted Tales adventure.
After our Enchanted Tales with Belle, which was awesome, we had a little time to kill before our dinner reservations at the Beast's castle. We managed to get one more ride in on Buzz Lightyear...this time with some better photos.
The boys also did one of the coin presses...this one was even an old crank style one.
Shira was pretty excited about her coin too!
After that we were ready to eat dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Once our table was ready they handed one member of the party a candlestick that was a "friend of Lumiere." Garytt got to carry him to the table.
Westyn admired him once we were at the table.
We sat in the main ball room for dinner but we walked around afterwards to check out all the other rooms including the famous West Wing. We even had "The Grey Stuff" for dessert...and it was delicious (but not exactly what I was expecting)!
After dinner, we were escorted over to meet The Beast. Apparently, he doesn't always show up for dinner (temperamental, ya know?). So, I was pretty excited that he was there.
We definitely had a magical ending to our first day!
