The Cub Scouts started working on their derby cars. They had help getting the basic design cut, then he spend a lot of time sanding which watching a show at the dining table.


The Cub Scouts also had a bowling outing.

Christmas 2016 at CRC

On December 15, 2016, Cathedral of the Risen Christ School hosted the elementary Christmas concert. They offer an afternoon viewing and an evening performance. Grandma and I went to the afternoon show. Let me just say, Garytt is not shy. He saw us and gave us a huge wave.


Here are a couple of videos. The first one especially shows how silly he was being during the concert.


Justin went to the evening performance. While my understanding is that he wasn't quite as animated in the evening as he was that afternoon, he still showed some personality.

On December 21, there was a Nativity play at school. Several students from all the classes were chosen to participate in the program. Garytt got to be a sheep.


The preschool class participated as well. They were all stars. But Westyn got to be the big, bright star.


It was fun to have them both in the program.

Cub Scout Outing to Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum

On December 3, 2016 the Pack 54 Cub Scouts went to the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum in Ashland, NE.


Westyn was particularly excited to get to ride the bus.


The scouts explored the airplanes and Legos.

 
It was a particularly exciting day at the museum because it was Star Wars day!!


Despite the cold weather, I think the boys really enjoyed their trip to the museum!
