You are not actually Batman dear Westyn.
This was one messy breakfast.
Bubbles...
Reading with mommy.
I attempted to do a preschool learning week before summer school started. The boys chose oceans as the theme. We went to the library and I showed them how to look up books on that topic. Then we went to search the stacks to find the books. I also thought it would be neat to use the theme as a method to introduce a new saint. So, we learned about St. Brendan, patron saint of mariners. The boys colored a picture of St. Brendan giving a mass on the back of a whale.
Then I found this "fun" project where you can paint a water color using Kool-Aid. Well, let me just say, it was a sticky mess that stained their hands. They did like it though. Then we decorated them with fish when they were dry.
We gave Westyn a 48 piece puzzle to do. He finished it all by himself!
Westyn stole Garytt's backpack for the day.
The boys and I visited my parents one weekend while Justin stayed here. I let the boys out of the van and was chatting with my mom. My dad came out and asked who was supervising the kids...they had decided to try out Grandpa's "toys."
Grandma pulled out some puzzles from my childhood!
Westyn and Grandma took a nap.
Off to a car show.
Bath time friends.
Westyn takes his job as laundry helper seriously.
We spent some time at the splash pad in Columbia.
Library time.
Westyn found our roll of Aggie duct tape and played a little game of rolling it on the floor. I was working but I stopped to take a couple of videos because he started saying "Go, Aggies, Go."
