We arrived in Nashville well past the boys bedtime. So, we quickly changed them and got them ready for bed. It didn't take long for them to warm right up to Stacey's Great Dane, Willow.
The next morning, Stacey had new puzzles waiting for the boys...the do love their puzzles!
Justin didn't have to go to the hotel for the conference until Saturday afternoon. So, we decided to go to Adventure Science Center on Saturday morning. Yeah, this is a much better science center!
We decided to take a lunch break and then drop Justin off at his conference...but not before he had to stop to pick up some refreshments.
After we dropped Justin off, Stacey and I took the boys back over to the science center. The first time we went in, we forgot our flat scientists. The library here in Columbia had coloring pictures of scientists. The kids were to color their scientists and then take pictures of them during their summer vacations. Then we emailed in the pictures and they are displayed in the library to see what fun adventures all the scientists did this summer. Garytt specifically chose scientists for each of us.
We only brought in the scientists for the boys. Here's their official pictures for the library.
Anyway, off we went to explore the science center some more.
We spent our evening at a little playground not far from Stacey's house. The boys loved the double slide and enjoyed their slide races.
I was just commenting on how nice it was that this play area was completely fenced and Stacey and I could sit and chat outside the fence without worrying about them running into traffic. She mentioned that the fence did seem like it had quite a bit of space at the bottom though...just then, someone else noticed that. #FenceFail.
After a full day, we were all ready for bed!
