One of Garytt's classmate's mom brought in some baby chicks for the kids to see. They all loved that!
Garytt is having fun on the playground with one of his best friends, Isabella.
The following week was Spirit Week at school. Tuesday was crazy hat day. Garytt picked his Goofy hat because he says he also likes to be goofy...yes, we can see that from the group photo.
Wednesday was crazy sock day. Garytt and Westyn decided it would be funny for each of them to pick a super hero sock and then wear one of theirs and one from their brother. Honestly, Garytt came up with this by himself and Westyn didn't take much convincing.
It looks like Garytt's school friends had fun with crazy sock day too.
Having fun outside on crazy sock day.
Friday was wear your favorite team colors day. Garytt couldn't decided between wearing Kansas State Wildcats and Texas A&M Aggies. Seriously no matter how much I tried to convince him to just go with the Aggies, he wanted to wear both. So, he wore a KSU shirt and Aggie pants. Westyn was a little Aggie...Whoop!
Apparently Garytt and Sage were the only two kids in class that did not wear Mizzou colors, so they got a special photo together.
Both Westyn and Garytt were able to participate in Easter celebrations at LODO. Garytt actually celebrated on Thursday and Friday.
Garytt Thursday fun.
Westyn's Friday fun.
Garytt's Friday fun.
The following week was the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon. The LODO families raised $1500 for St. Jude, which I thought was pretty good considering the size of the school! Garytt got to participate on Wednesday and Thursday, while Westyn only participated on Wednesday. The weather was nice enough on Wednesday to have it outside but they had to move indoors on Friday. Garytt told me he won both races and that he was "super fast." Ms. Val actually told me I will be happy to know that Garytt is a very cautious and polite driver...haha.
April was a busy and fun-filled month at LODO!
