Silly boy!
The boys loved their new PJs from Aunt Shira...Garytt is taking his role as Batman particularly seriously.
These next few pictures and videos were actually going to be a whole blog of their own but I changed my mind. Westyn received some roller skates for his birthday back in January. And in early March, the boys decided to try them out. Well, actually Garytt decided to try them out and Westyn seemed totally fine letting him go first. He rather enjoyed riding his trike around while Garytt struggled.
In mid-March, Westyn had another round of sniffles which was turning into a breathing issue. I took him to the doctor for the 3rd time with this same pattern. As it turned out, they previously told me it couldn't be a breathing issue because he wasn't breathing, but this time the doctor gave him two breathing treatments before his lungs actually opened up enough to wheeze. So, he has officially been diagnosed with asthma. Ironically, the only picture I have from that visit was Garytt trying on Westyn's fish face. (His daily inhaler has been very effective in preventing any more respiratory distress situations thus far.)
We got a new grill as well. And we enjoyed our first meal on it with our great friends Jeff, Stacy, and Hannah.
Apparently, Westyn loves to contemplate the world outside Garytt's window.
Here are some more random pictures.
One chilly morning, I decided to take the boys to the open gym at the rec center rather than dealing with two boys who hadn't been able to go out and play for a while. Shortly after we arrived, one of Garytt's classmates arrived. Sage immediately came over to play with Garytt. Sage's mom came over to chat with me. She told me that Ms. Soncha told her that on the playground Sage told Garytt she's going to marry him. How cute is that?!
Justin decided to take a few pictures while the boys were getting their haircut this month. Garytt's hair is easy...I just use the clippers. Westyn's hair requires a spray bottle and scissors. Westyn is obsessed with the spray bottle...and spraying himself.
The boys love making silly faces for the camera so they can see themselves later. It's even better when they get to use the mustaches one of Garytt's friend's gave him as a birthday gift.
These two boys sure do keep me entertained!
