Chef Mickey's

As mentioned, we had early reservations for Chef Mickey's. So, despite it being a late night, we were all up early Wednesday morning. The boys had some surprises waiting for them when they woke up. They each received an autograph book, a pressed penny book with a tube of coins, and a water bottle.

Once we were all ready, we headed to the Contemporary Resort for breakfast with the Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto)!

Pretty much as soon as we were seated, they started singing and dancing and asking everyone to swing their napkins around. (By the way, if you look in the background, you can see Cinderella's castle!)

Westyn was ready to eat!

But before we knew it, Goofy came over to visit! We were so out of sorts and not ready (a huge character dining faux paux) that we only ended up with a few awkward photos with Garytt's favorite character...bummer!

Mickey was next to come to our table...Westyn looked shocked.

e had a better luck with photos.

Next, we met Donald, Westyn's favorite character!

Shira was particularly excited to meet Minnie.

Last, but not least, was Pluto, who definitely has a challenging job when signing autographs.

As Garytt and I were posing for a quick photo, the characters and servers were dancing and singing Happy Birthday and delivering cupcakes to various tables...and I received a birthday cupcake! (Since we were visiting Disney during the Christmas season and for Mickey's Christmas party, someone decided that I should get to have a special birthday cake with Mickey and the gang...although no one will take credit for the fun...ha!)

By then, it was about time to go. However, the server mentioned at the beginning if somehow one of the characters didn't make it around to let her know. So, since we had such disappointing pictures with Garytt's main man, Goofy, I asked her if there was any way he could come back. She said she would take care of it. We were able to meet him over by the buffet to get pictures!

I was so grateful they brought Goofy back out for us!  Chef Mickey's was the perfect way to start our day!

Time to head to Magic Kingdom!

Disney Travel Day

We were fortunate enough to get to visit Walt Disney World again in November this year. We were even able to coordinate the trip with Justin's Aunt Shira and Cousin Auggie! I love getting to travel to fun places and hang out with family at the same time!

I did some projects for this trip as per usual. I made t-shirts for three of the days, pressed penny books, and autograph books for all the kids.

The boys were very excited for our trip. We headed to St. Louis to catch our flight on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 11. The boys did a great job traveling...but I am very thankful for our electronic entertainment during these times!

We arrived and headed to get the rental car. The boys have become seasoned travelers and prefer to roll their own carry-on luggage with no assistance.

Garytt couldn't resist giving Mickey a big hug, even if it was on the airport wall.

Once were were at the rental car, we had the task of putting in the car seats. The boys climbed into the trunk while I put them in...who knew that could be so entertaining?

Once we were set to go, we picked up Shira and Auggie at their terminal. Then we headed to the resort. We stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort, which is not a Disney owned property, however, it is technically within the Disney gates!  So we took a picture as we passed the official sign because we were not going to have to pass by it every day like we did the last time we visited.

I took a few quick photos of our condo before we all headed to bed. (Well, actually before all the boys headed to bed because Shira and I did a late night Wal-Mart run to get food and things for the week.)

The boys even unpacked their own clothes and put them in drawers.

It was time to get some sleep because at the last minute we were able to book an early morning reservation at Chef Mickey's!
