Garytt as a lazy lion.
Is that Westyn? It's such a good disguise!
Breakfast in the car on the way to work with dad.
Grandma and Grandpa sent the boys some pretty fun new winter hats in early October, just before Garytt's Olaf performance. Westyn received a Ninja turtle hat and Garytt received the Olaf hat. The fun thing is they can press a button and the hands move! The boys love their hats and they wear them any time it is remotely chilly outside!
The boys and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a few days while Justin was out of town. Grandma, the boys, and I had plans to go to a pumpkin patch but it was so insanely crowded when we drove by, we opted for something less crazy...like Chuck E. Cheese. The boys enjoyed it and when they turned in their tickets, they were able to get these scary vampire teeth. Watch out Grandma!
October ended up being the last month the boys were in Tiger Academy Gymnastics class. We have too much travel and days off in November and December, so we decided to take a break. I think Westyn might go back but Garytt was a little too distracted for it at this point. Here's their last group warm-up together.
Garytt made a spider hat at school and loved it! He wore it all the time around the house...until it inevitably broke...sad day.
What did the tree ever do to you guys?
The Donatello mask that came with the turtle suits.
Garytt gets to stay up a little later than Westyn now. Here he is listening to Justin's music while Justin works on a paper.
Westyn watching some of the big trucks on campus while waiting for me to come pick him up.
One evening while Justin was at class, I gave Garytt the toy catalog to look at while I got some other work done. I gave him a pen and told him to circle what he liked. He was so serious about this project. He seriously looked at each page carefully and selected toys he might like. It kept him entertained for quite some time. (Side note: I used to love doing this as a kid!)
Grandma and Grandpa sent some silly vampire teeth suckers that the boys thought were awesome!
The boys still like to sing the "Where is Daddy" song we made up a while back when they are ready to eat but Justin isn't home yet.
Garytt learned how to do a "spooky" laugh at some point (no idea where he picked it up) and taught it to Westyn. They thought it was so fun to do this laugh.
