Carving Pumpkins

It was an unusually warm October, which meant that we were able to carve our pumpkins outside this year! Score! All the pumpkin goo and guts stayed out of the house!

The boys were eager to get things started!

They were both supposed to scoop out their own pumpkins.

The pictures may be convincing enough to make you think they are busy scooping. In fact, they would get one or two seeds out at a time. They were terrified to touch the goopy stuff. So, Justin showed them how to really get a good scoop...and their faces tell you exactly how they feel about that...

Westyn got a little braver and stuck his hand in his pumpkin.

Once the pumpkins were cleaned out, I helped Westyn carve his pumpkin while Justin helped Garytt.

Ok, here are some out takes from the composed picture of the boys with their pumpkins...some are just too funny not to share.

At least you know these kids know how to have fun!
