It had been a long day already. Justin carried Westyn for the rest of the walk over to the lake and he totally fell asleep.
He didn't even wake up upon our initial arrival at The Center for Wooden Boats.
One we started getting the rental process going, he woke up and was ready to go boating.
Once we all had life vests and some basic instructions on the boat, off we went. So, controlling the boat was a little more challenging that we expected, but we got the hang of it and had a great time on the lake.
We had a successful trip in our little green wooden boat.
The guide gave the boys some stickers.
Then I took a picture of the boys with our trusty green boat behind them.
This was such a great side trip and I think it checked something off Justin's bucket list.
We decided it was better to hop on a bus than to hoof it back to the city center.
The bus dropped us off pretty close to our hotel but along our walk back, we found a restaurant that we decided to try. It was not only amazing food, but it had a lot of local beers on tap. Justin was pretty excited!
We wrapped of the evening with a dip in the pool.
The following morning, June 14, our awesome little travelers learned how to get to the airport via city transportation. We walked a few blocks with our luggage to catch a train to the airport.
We had such a great trip to the Pacific Northwest and can't wait to come back!
