Visiting MOA was something Justin really wanted to do because he enjoys visiting other university campuses and we thought it would be great for the boys to explore as well.

One thing we asked the boys to do was to bring their journals with them to MOA. We had them choose three things to draw during our visit. They each chose one of the statues in the main room, then thoey chose two items from other rooms. We thought this would be a way to get them to slow down and appreciate these historical pieces.

I can't tell you the number of people who stopped us to comment on how great it was that we asked the boys to draw at the museum. In fact, there was a group of college students from another university doing a project at MOA and one of them asked if they could take a picture of Westyn drawing. Apparently, having kids draw at museums is a rare thing but I highly recommend it!
Here are some more pictures of the museum.

There was a neat interactive room there as well. It was a projection on the wall that if you touched certain images, it would change the image. It was really a fun and mesmerizing.

We drove around the university a bit before heading out. It is really a lovely campus.

On our way back to the U.S., we stopped in White Rock, B.C. for dinner. We found a restaurant with rooftop seating and enjoyed the lovely view while eating dinner.

After dinner, we walked down the main business street and found some ice cream. The boys were happy and it was delicious!

White Rock has a lovely pier. So, we took our ice cream and walked down to the pier.

After a fun, but long day in Canada, the boys were ready for an evening swim before bed.
