4th of July Weekend Fun

We met up with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Becca, Uncle Kyle, and cousins Jacob and Levi at Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City on July 3. The room wasn't ready when we arrived but the boys were eager to get to the water park. We took a quick picture in the lobby before heading to the water park.

We took a break from the water and headed up to our rooms to change.


When the boys started getting restless, Grandma decided to start a pillow fight...oh Grandma!


When we went back to the lobby, they were doing face painting. Westyn wanted to be a wolf. Garytt wanted to be a mean Lego man...go figure.

 
We decided to get a sweet treat before it was time for the next activity.


Then it was time for the dance party.


Later we got the boys in their pjs and came to the lobby for story time.


After story time, Oliver stuck around for pictures.


We had some more water park time the next morning. Then we let the boys play at the arcade for a bit.


We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge! We will have to go back soon. But for now it was time to head out to the Skahan Annual 4th of July Picnic!

We arrived at Jeff and Kathy's house and enjoyed the fun with family. I have a few pictures of the boys doing smoke bombs and riding horses, but I was chatting most of the time.
