Then, after quiet time, Justin really wanted to take the boys out to Rock Bridge Park here in town. So, we decided to pick up some Subway and have a little picnic dinner out there before going hiking. It was so humid outside that when I tried to take a picture with my camera it had condensation on the lens.
So, I used Justin's phone to take a few pictures while my big camera acclimated.
After dinner, we headed into the park. The scenery was quite lovely, despite the humidity levels.
The boys enjoyed the bridge right at the entrance.
We eventually moved on. Most of the pathways were actually wooden, which was nice. But the fencing on either side really wasn't toddler proof. So, the boys were making us pretty nervous that their curiosity would cause an accident. So, we held their hands most of the way.
Once we were towards the back, we found the natural rock bridge that the park is named after.
Garytt wanted to get a better look.
And, apparently, you can go explore under he rock bridge at your own risk. Definitely not up for that with toddlers!!
Then, we walked back to the stairs we passed on the way to the rock bridge to climb up and get a view from above.
I also took a picture of the guys at the top.
Then, we decided to head back to the car. It was so humid we were all sweaty and ready for a drink of water. Check out Westyn's awesome hair.
Garytt found a stick on the way back to the car and decided he was the leader. So we sang follow the leader and headed back to the car.
We had a fun evening out at the park and a Happy Father's Day!
