Downtown Disney

We planned to go check out the Downtown Disney area on Thursday. We got a slower start to the morning than usual. Mickey did leave one last gift for the boys though!

The boys were able to just play outside for a bit.

Apparently, Justin caught someone getting into some shenanigans. Good thing we don't have a stove with the controls on the front.

Once everyone was ready, we went to Downtown Disney. We parked near the Lego store. There were lots of neat Lego creations to see outside.

So, my goal when going to Downtown Disney was to find the Once Upon A Toy store where they have a build your own Mr. Potato Head. Basically, you buy a box and you fill it with as many parts as you can. Most of the items are Disney Parks exclusives, so you would be able to get them just anywhere. And, of course, since we already have Potato Heads, we could fill our boxes with just parts, thus getting a lot more for our money. Garytt had a good time picking items out!

We took a lunch break and found some fun statues along the way. You can see, Garytt is still big into bowing to a princess.

He also found Dumbo...but it's hard to see it with the glare on the window.

After lunch, I wanted to check out the Christmas store. We tried taking everyone in but there were just too many breakables. So, plan B was to let Garytt go pick out a Mickey treat from Goofy's candy store. Everyone sat outside and enjoyed their Mickey treat while I ran into the store to get an ornament...ok, maybe I didn't stop at just one ornament.

We also went inside the Lego store. Garytt had a good time playing with the Legos. I sort of regretting letting him go in though because it was difficult to get him to leave! We did get a picture with the Hulk before we left though.

So ends the adventures in Orlando. We had a really early flight the next morning, so we made it and early evening. We had a great trip!

Side Note: Garytt was so excited about the the Potato Head items that as soon as he got home, he wanted to build a pirate! Justin helped him make Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

Then, it looks like maybe they made some tourists?

Both Garytt and Westyn were working hard!

That was definitely a great souvenir for the boys! They play with them all the time!
