Kids are free to get into the zoo during the month of October and apparently there is no restriction on that, meaning one adult can bring as many kids as they want to bring. Yeah, that's about how it felt, too. It was pretty busy and most of the major exhibits were so crowded, we didn't even try to push our way up to the front to see.
So, on one hand we were very impressed with the zoo but on the other hand we didn't get to do as much as we had hoped to do. Because it was so busy, we didn't even get as many pictures as we normally do but we do have some.
We started off by letting the boys get a snack. And the zoo has a cup that you purchase and then get free refills all day, which is a good deal at a park like that. Garytt "needed" a green one.
Then it was time to see some animals.
Garytt was funny when we found the flamingos. He wanted to show me how they stand.
Both boys had fun in the Polar Bear area...but not because they were so impressed with the polar bear but rather because there were fun tunnels to crawl through.
We did have fun at the zoo, I was just disappointed that we didn't really leave ourselves enough time to enjoy it all and then with the exceptionally high crowd level, it was hard to see some of the animals. I think the boys had fun though, so that's what really counts.
