Legos and Bowling

There was a special Lego exhibit at the art museum on the Washburn University campus in Topeka while we were in town. So, we decided to check it out. We arrived with only about 20 minutes to go through the exhibit. That turned out to be enough time to see all the pieces in the exhibit but we found out that there was a children's activity center in the basement that would have been fun for Garytt if we had more time. Maybe next time we are in town, we can check that part out. Anyhow, I don't know how much Garytt really got out of the Lego exhibit but he was along for the ride.

There was also a bird's nest topiary piece out in front of the museum that you could walk through. Apparently we didn't get a very good picture of the whole structure. But here is Grandpa and Garytt walking around it.

After the museum, we decided we would all go bowling. I wasn't really sure how entertained Garytt would be during our bowling adventure but he did pretty well. At first, we just gave him a snack and that kept him occupied. Then we took turns walking around with him. We were able to get two full games in with no melt downs. However, the only pictures that I have are of Garytt eating his snack...apparently we didn't think to take pictures of anyone but him...go figure.
