The gift bags included a couple of "cool" outfits...meaning some Nike tops and shorts for playtime (he is sporting one of the outfits in these photos). It also included books of The Justice League and Superman and some Mickey and Minnie Mouse cards to learn your colors and shapes.

She also bought bubbles for Garytt to try. So, we went outside on my parents' deck to play with bubbles. Unfortunately, the dogs and other things outside were a bit distracting. But by the third time we attempted the bubbles, I think he undertood it a little better.

Bec also bought a little shrink wrapped washcloth that you had to put into water and watch it expand. She wasn't really sure if Garytt would like it but it turned out he loved it! I think it was because he was able to play in the water but it was definitely a winner and he used it the rest of the trip during bath time.

Bec and Garytt also spent some time outside just hanging out and playing. We learned later that she was showing him how to throw the rocks/pebbles from the landscaping and how to find and pick up sticks around the yard. Picking up sticks is fun...throwing rocks...maybe not so much...hahaha.
They also played with sidewalk chalk from the bag of fun but somehow I managed to not have any pictures of that. But Garytt does LOVE sidewalk chalk now. So, that's a fun activity for us to do occasionally here as well.
The final activity from their Day of Fun was glow sticks. Of course, we had to wait until it was evening time. But it was a challenge because Garytt goes to bed so early that it still wasn't dark outside. So, we closed the blinds in several rooms one evening and played with the glow sticks. Garytt had a lot of fun with those too!
These are blurry but it shows how much he liked waving the glow sticks around.
Overall I think both Garytt and Bec enjoyed the Day of Fun!
