A Video Update

Justin is much better about remembering to grab the Flip Video and catch simple moments around the house with the boys than I am. But then we both forget to upload them or share them. So, here are a few videos from the past few weeks that we haven't shared.

A while back we posted some pictures of Garytt checking himself out in the baby mirror with a blue hat on. Apparently, we also took a video of this one evening. He does love hats...any kind of hat!



One afternoon we also took some videos of Garytt "bowling." He has these soft dinosaur bowling pins and a couple of soft bowling balls that go with it. This was a gift from Aunt Becca a while back. He goes through phases of playing with them. As you will see in the videos, he not only doesn't really set them up like bowling pins usually are, he doesn't exactly roll the ball like you would in bowling. He has fun with it and it is cute to watch. At the end though, he always decides it is much easier to just knock them over with your hands...go figure.







Garytt has learned recently that he can crawl under his bed, which is actually good because when we play in his room and he looses a toy under there he can retrieve it on his own now.



Garytt loves to read books. We often go to the library and let him pick a few books to bring home. The last time we did that, he loved two of the books he picked out and looks at them all the time. One of the books teaches counting and numbers by using famous works of art as the pictures. Justin really liked the idea of exposing him to art while also teaching very basic number recognition. So, Garytt is looking at this book during some morning play time while Westyn is doing his morning tummy time.



Recently Garytt has decided to start beat boxing. Well, at least that is what we call it. He will often be sitting in his car seat and we will hear him start to make noises and sounds to a beat. We caught this on video after the Dr. Suess birthday party at the library a few weeks ago.



The next two videos are some more adventures of Super Garytt. He still loves to put the cape and mask on and "fly" around the room. Then, of course, he has to go check himself out in our hallway mirror. He is too funny. In both of these videos, you can hear that Westyn is not as entertained.





Apparently, Justin set the Flip Video down within reach of Super Garytt because the following video was the result. Super Garytt might want not want to go into videography as a career...
