On a side note, I decided to try to "help" our evening routine go a little quicker on Wednesday. So, I decided to take Garytt straight to the tub to get a bath after dinner. During the bath, his hand slipped and he hit his face on the side of the tub. We put ice on it immediately and was able to get a lot of the swelling down. (By the way, that certainly didn't help the evening routine go any quicker.)
That picture definitely shows that there was a mark by his eye but we were really hopeful that it wouldn't be too bad since he allowed us to ice the boo boo several times that evening. Unfotunately, when he woke up on Thursday, he had a black eye.
March 2012 has been a rough month for Garytt. He got his first bloody nose and his first shiner!
Anyhow, we finished up breakfast, got the boys ready, and headed to the doctor.
Garytt loves the fish tank in the waiting room of our pediatricians office.
Westyn just chilled while we waited.
We didn't wait long before we were called back for the appointments.
Garytt got his check-up first. He was pretty excited about it all.
Garytt's two year stats:
Weight: 31 lb 6.4 oz (86th percentile)
Height: 32.75 in (13th percentile)
If you are wondering, yes, both the nurses and the doctor asked about Garytt's black eye. Apparently, they felt our story was legit because no one turned us in to child protective services...whew!!
Then it was Westyn's turn.

Weight: 12 lb 2 oz (70th percentile)
Height: 22.25 in (32 percentile)
Garytt entertained himself by climbing into the cabinets during Westyn's check-up. I have to say that the cubby in the cabinets is the perfect size for a toddler.
We now how TWO boys. One TWO year old and one TWO month old. Two is definitely the number of the day!
