We headed just about an hour or so north Birch Bay to Vancouver. We actually started north of Vancouver at Capilano Suspension Bridge.
There is a lot more to see than the suspension bridge here. So, the boys were quick to get guide maps.
Here's the first glimpse of the suspension bridge behind the boys.
Just past the entrance, there are totem poles. The boys were pretty excited about them.
The boys decided to try to take some pictures of us.
Then a kind traveler offered to take a family photo...it turned out great!
I even like it as a black and white.
Time to head across the bridge.
Again a kind traveler offered to take our picture. This one didn't turn out quite a good and in the second one we can't even see Westyn but I appreciate the effort.

There were a number of fairly nervous people going across the bouncy bridge. The boys weren't worried.
Once across the bridge, there were a number of different paths and things to do. So, the boys were all about mapping out our path.
We took a few more group photos before heading to the Treetop Adventure.
Off to the Treetops, where we got to walk on elevated paths through the trees.
As it turned out, they had a kids scavenger hunt booklet at the entrance to the Treetops. The answers could be found along the treetop paths as well as ground level paths.
Meanwhile, the walk among the trees was fun!
When we got back to ground level, it was time to complete the scavenger hunt, while taking in the beauty of the forest.
These two enjoyed their time exploring and earned their Rainforest Explorer badges!
We headed back across the suspension bridge.

This time we noticed that you could see the cliff edge walk, which was new since the last time we were there. We headed to do that next. I mean, who doesn't want to walk along a narrow path that is help up with supports connected to the edge of a cliff?!

More pictures of the cliff walk. Along the walk there were little photo op spots that kind of were off to the side. Some of them were a little intimidating because it felt so far over the edge.

Our plan had been to find a table and have a picnic for lunch. As it turned out, just after we finished the cliff walk, it started raining...really raining. So, we ran back to the car and had a picnic lunch in the car...not quite the view we were hoping for but I was thankful the rain held off long enough for us to finish up at Capilano.
After our quick lunch break it was time to head to Vancouver!

We went here when we went to Vancouver in 2015. It was a lot of fun! I have many photos that look similar to yours!
