Wrapping Up the 2016-2017 School Year

As the 2016-2017 school year started nearing the end, there was an exciting day for Westyn. He took part in Kindergarten preview day at Cathedral. For a few hours, on May 1, he got to see what it would be like in Kindergarten. He was pretty excited to go!

He was even more excited to tell me all about it afterwards. He was definitely ready to become an Eagle!

May 16, 2017 was Westyn's final day at the Lutheran preschool.

Silly face before school...and photo bomb.

This was a very bittersweet moment. Westyn was in Ms. Becky's class for two years, and she is one of the most awesome early education teachers there is. We were so blessed to have Westyn in her class! The Lutheran school doesn't have a preschool graduation, so it was hard to say "Good-bye" on the last day.

On May 18, just shortly before the school year wrapped up, Garytt's class to a field trip to the Pioneers Park nature exploration area. Of course, I volunteered to go along.

Garytt's final day of 1st grade was May 24, 2017. It was a great year full of lots of academic progress.

Another photo bomb. (Can you tell the boys are really into that these days?)

Then G wanted to photo bomb.

We took a picture with Mrs. Pavelka after school that day. Again, we were so blessed to have such an amazing educator for Garytt!

Of course I had to get a picture beside the CRC tree.

Oh wait, here's another photo bomb.

We had a wonderful school year. Of course, the boys are always excited for summer!
