Garytt's 7th Birthday

Garytt turned 7 on March 25, 2017. It fell on a Saturday this year. So, we had a full day planned. We actually gave him his "big" birthday gift right after he woke up. He had been asking for Minecraft for a long time. So, we downloaded the Minecraft app to his tablet for his birthday. He was pretty excited!


After some time exploring Minecraft, Justin took Garytt out for his birthday donut.


He was back to playing Minecraft when he got home.


We were having his party for school friends on his actual birthday since it fell on a Saturday.


So, we headed over to the YMCA for a Mad Scientist party.


We had a great turn out for his party. Most of his classmates made it as well as cousins Jacob and Levi.


The first experiment was to build the tallest tower possible with the given supplies.

 
For the second experiment, the kids were able to make their own bouncy ball.


The final experiment was to make slime. This was particularly messy but the kids loved it.


After cleanup, it was time for pizza and cake.

Then we headed home for family presents.


The weekend went by very quickly. We got some pictures with Grandma and Grandpa just before everyone left.
