We arrived right about dinner time and Jacob and Levi were already there so the boys were quick to play.

Garytt is not my animal lover of the group, but he really, really liked their dog. Turns out I think he is not a fan of big dogs.

The next day, we decided to go to the local children's museum just around the corner from the Dimond's house. We met up with more cousins, including little Charlotte. All the kids had a great time at the museum. My boys especially liked trying to put themselves in a full size bubble.

The children's museum was pretty crowded and we found out why when they made an announcement that a local Irish dance troop would be performing. That was a fun surprise for this Irish family.

After the children's museum, we headed back to the Dimond house to hang out and catch up. It was great to see Pat, Dave, Katie, Chris, Kevin, Molly, and Craig, as well as the two littlest ones Charlotte and Camden. The kids had a blast with bubble blowers in the backyard thanks to Grandpa, Uncle Kyle, and Cousin Chris.

That night we decided to go to the famous Casa Bonita. Oh boy! It was crazy busy and the line was incredibly long. The boys and I entertained ourselves with some selfies.

Of course, that didn't last long but somehow we made it to the front of the line and got our food. We ate and then came back out for the diving show.

Then we attempted a group picture before we left since we wouldn't be seeing some of the cousins again this trip. It was a big challenge to get a picture with this many people, including young kids, and the low lighting.

We were able to get one photo of the adult kid cousins before we left. We survived Casa Bonita!

The next morning was Sunday so I took the boys to a church near our hotel before we met up with everyone. Garytt thought the stairs were really cool and asked for a picture.

Then we headed to the Denver aquarium for lunch. The Polok group was already at the aquarium actually seeing the exhibits. We just came for lunch. It was a delicious lunch and the boys were very entertained by the fish in the tanks.

We ordered some fancy desert, too.

There was actually a mermaid show in the tanks before we left. It was hard to get a pic of those tricky mermaids but you can see the boys were right up front to watch.

We got a group photo before we left.

From there, we parted ways with Pat and Dave. We went with the Polok group to a local park to let the boys run off some energy before hitting the road.

Then it was time for good-bye hugs.

I am so glad we made this impromptu trip to visit our Colorado cousins. It was so great to see everyone!
