Cathedral Easter Egg Hunt 2017

On the morning of April 8, 2017, we headed over to Cathedral for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The boys were excited...but also chilly. It was cooler than I expected and we didn't have jackets with us...Garytt wasn't thrilled.


Garytt loosened up a bit once some of his friends started arriving.


Then the real goofy side started coming out...baskets on the heads.


Brothers.


Westyn's group went before Garytt's age group. Here he is waiting patiently to start.


Then the preschoolers were off and running.


Pretty soon it was time for Garytt's group to line up.

 
The organizer told this group to get loud before the allowed them to start...Garytt took that seriously...he cracks me up!

 
Off they go!

 
Of course they had to compare baskets.


The kids were asked to open their eggs and return the plastic eggs to be used for next year.


Then they were asked to donate some candy back to be taken by the church over to other kids who couldn't participate in the egg hunt. It was a nice reminder to always give back and tithe.
