That same day Garytt and I also did some baking for the trip while Westyn took a nap. Garytt decided the dough hook on my Kitchen Aide mixer looked a lot like Captian Hook's.
The funniest part about Garytt pretending to be Captain Hook was that when Westyn woke up, he started calling Westyn Mr. Smee. I took a short video of the boys playing and trying to find Jake. (For those not in the know, Jake and the Neverland Pirates is a Disney Jr. show that is a spin off of Peter Pan. The main character is Jake-a good pirate. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are always creating havoc in Neverland and Jake and his crew help fix things.)
My parents arrived late Thursday, May 2. Friday morning we headed to Columbia Regional Airport to head to Orlando!
Garytt looked like an expert traveler.
We went through security and found a little corner in the waiting area to hang out. As you can see, Columbia Regional has a lot of Mizzou spirit.
Garytt was busy playing on his tablet, which I had loaded with some new games and books.
Westyn just enjoyed playing on the chair and trying to get loose.
My parents look pretty excited about the trip too...my mom is still trying to wrangle little WD as she poses for a quick picture though.
Although weather in Orlando was supposed to be quite nice, it was only 35 degrees that morning as we left Columbia...seriously? So, it was a little chilly getting on the plane that morning.
The boys traveled well...but were excited to peek over the seats at Grandma and Grandpa once we landed.
Garytt looks unimpressed with Orlando airport.
We did have a little glitch getting the rental van...a little glitch that took about an hour to clear up...very annoying!
But after that, we finally headed out to the condo. When I booked the condo, it said there was a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a room with two twin beds. In reality it was was more like two king bedrooms and a bedroom with two full size beds. Anyhow, we all got settle in for a relaxing evening at the condo.
Master Bed/Bath
Second Bed/Bath
Third Bed/Bath
The rest of the condo
