The Easter Bunny managed to find the boys and leave a few goodies even though we were at Grandma and Grandpa's house. As you can see, the Easter Bunny was especially into literature this year.
The Easter Bunny also tries to encourage dental hygene with all the sugary sweets he leaves. Westyn was pretty happy to just look at his new tooth brush while he relaxed.
Garytt discovered there were a few miniature chocolate bunnies in their baskets...he was quick to eat one of those!
Before our big Easter lunch, we took the boys outside to do an egg hunt in the front yard.
It didn't take them too long to find all the eggs and head back inside.
Garytt took his bucket to the coffee table to check out the eggs to see what was inside. He was pretty funny too because he found a few eggs that were empty (they must have opened up outside or dumped out into the bucket). So, Aunt Becca said that the Easter Bunny must have gotten hungry while hiding the eggs and Garytt agreed. So, as he would find others that were empty he would say, "Oops, Easter Bunny was hungry."
Westyn, on the other hand, didn't make it but a few steps inside the door before he stopped to check out his eggs. And it didn't take him long to figure out there were crackers inside.
"What mess?"
Unfortunately, Justin really wasn't feeling well over Easter weekend, so we didn't get our traditional Easter family picture...bummer.
We did take a few videos of the egg hunt though.
And here's a video of Westyn opening his eggs.
We all had a fun Easter, especially the boys!
