Cupcake Anyone?

After a break from all the excitement of Christmas (and after the boys had a good nap), it was time to celebrate my birthday.  Garytt was eager to help me open my gifts.

Although he was excited about opening the gifts, I don't think he really appreciated the gifts themselves...a new purse, some sewing tools, and home decor to name a few. Westyn climbed on Ellie while I opened gifts.

  Then we had dinner...Garytt was pretty excited because don't normally let him have juice...he downed it immediately!

  Of course, a birthday celebrate isn't complete without cake! Justin did a great job of making my favorite spice cake...but there is no picture. Apparently, Justin took the boys to the store a week or so before my birthday and Garytt picked out some ice cream cupcakes for my birthday. So, we served those up as well...only no one read the directions that we were supposed to thaw them for a little while. So, they were really hard and difficult to eat. Most of us decided they weren't all that great. Garytt, however, enjoyed every bit of it!

  I think the best part of my birthday was watching Garytt enjoy that cupcake! Thanks for a great day boys, mom, and dad!
