Goodbye Galena

Saturday was our last full day in Galena. Grandpa and Grandma stayed through lunch and then headed out on their long trip back to Kansas.

Unfortuantely, the weather outside was pretty chilly and rainy. So, we decided to stay in the condo. Justin overheard someone say that the pool heater was fixed. We didn't realize it was broken before, although it was quite chilly. So, Justin and Garytt decided to try swimming again.

I only brought our little camera and the video camera with me. The pictures from the little camera are pretty blurry. But I think you can tell that Garytt is enjoying himself a little better this time.

Here are a couple of videos as well.

Although the guys had a much better time in the pool, the water was apparently still a little cold. Garytt started shivering in the pool, so we decided it was time to get out and warm up. I was glad that he was able to play in the pool for a little while though.

We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying our last evening on vacation. We really enjoyed visiting Galena and felt very blessed to be able to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with family. But, alas, it was time to head back to Wisconsin...and all of our home projects.
