Coming down the stairs in his fun dog hat!
Close-up
Not happy about putting his coat on
Doesn't he look pitiful...and snotty.
Bye-bye
The group meets up in the Appleton area and has had issues finding a location recently due to some problems in the old building. This past week it was held at the Appleton Head Start. They had a Mr. Potato Head that Garytt apparently LOVED playing with.
Then he found the reading nook. Now, this is a boy after my own heart... He LOVES books! Growing up I can remember my mom telling me I needed to go outside for a while and taking a chair and a book outside to read...not exactly what she meant...but that's how much I love books. Now, Garytt is all boy and if given the opportunity to go outside, I'm sure he won't choose to sit and read but, nevertheless, he does love reading.
Justin said once he found the books and comfy chairs, he stayed there the rest of the time. I'm really not sure what the story is behind taking one shoe off though... And it looks like he not only spent time reading but climbing all over the chairs...ha!
Friday Garytt received a package in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa. It contained a recordable book of The Night Before Christmas. So, I waited until after dinner when we were all home to give it to him and let him hear Grandma and Grandpa reading it to him. He really digs the music!
We also tried to get him to cup his hand around his ear to hear Grandma and Grandpa better...yeah it looks like he is covering his ears so as not to hear it at all...oops.
We also tried to get him to pose with the book...
Give it to me Dad!
Yay a new book!
Woohoo!!
Looking at the camera
As always...gotta show off the muscles!
Garytt also received a very special letter in the mail this week from Santa!! According to the letter, Mimi spoke with Santa about Garytt which prompted Santa to write him a personal note. How fun!
Garytt really enjoyed all his packages! Thanks Mimi for the Christmas books (from a previous post) and the dog hat. He loves to play with the hat and make his "barking" noise! And he still loves to read those books all the time!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun book! As you can tell he definitely enjoys it, even if he doesn't listen to every word...hahaha.
