Sledding with Grandpa

The weather while we were in Topeka was very wintery. The next day there were several inches of snow on the ground, which meant the boys were eager to go sledding. Grandpa went out with the boys.

Garytt was up first.


Then it was Westyn's turn.


Westyn didn't really like going down the hill by himself, so we had Garytt and Westyn go down together.


Garytt didn't really hold Westyn on the sled very well, so that didn't work out. So, Garytt went down a few more times until they took a break to just walk around in the snow.

  Then, Grandpa let Gunner come out to play and the boys were able to use the ball thrower for Gunner.


Before we went in, Garytt wanted to sled down the hill a few more times.
 

Grandpa didn't want Westyn left out, so he offered to ride down the hill with Westyn.

  Westyn really liked sledding with Grandpa and did it several more times. The last time, Garytt insisted on standing in the path despite warning they would run over him. And they did end up crashing and they all laughed about it!
