Christmas Eve

We had a relaxing Christmas Eve day. In fact, we let the boys stay in their pjs most of the day. We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner, which the boys were pretty excited about.

After dinner, we changed for Christmas Eve mass. And we took our yearly Christmas Eve family photo.

I thought we were going to have a Christmas Eve miracle at church when the boys were behaving so well. I thought this might be the very first mass where we didn't have to take one or the other one out for being too loud. Unfortunately, the last 15 minutes were too difficult for the boys and out Westyn went. I have to say though, that since we had to get there so early for mass on Christmas Eve, the boys were really very good.

After mass, we drove through a few neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights. I had heard about this one house they call the "Candy Cane Crib." So, we searched out that house. Apparently, they are even on Facebook and Twitter.

After our tour of lights, we headed back to the house. The boys changed into their Christmas pajamas. Then we set out some cookies and milk for Santa.

Garytt's class made reindeer food as well. So, we didn't want to forget to put that out so Santa's reindeer had a special treat as well.

Then it was time for the boys to be tucked in for bed with anticipation for Christmas morning.
