Christmas in Topeka

Saturday, December 21st we celebrated Christmas in Topeka. We woke up and saw this cutie pie.

Then it was time to open gifts. Santa even left a few presents for each of the boys under Grandma and Grandpa's tree. My boys were pretty excited.

Then we tried to get a photo with Jake in there, too...it was hard to get everyone looking the same direction.

Time to open Santa's gifts! They started with the smaller ones and even helped their cousin Jacob. Everyone received Toy Story shirts.

The next Santa gifts were toys. Garytt received a Woody doll and Westyn received a Buzz Lightyear, which matched the shirts they just opened. There were so excited about Buzz and Woody!

The boys still sleep with their Buzz and Woody dolls every night! Great job Santa!

Jacob received a different kind of toy. Not only did Jacob enjoy it, both of my boys were pretty interested in playing with it as well.

After the Santa gifts, it was time to open the other gifts under the tree. The boys were pretty in to helping Jacob with his packages, which didn't seem to bother him since he was mostly interested in eating all the paper.

After all those presents, it was time for a break. The boys took their new pillow beds that Grandma made them and watched a movie.

My parents invited some of our extended family over for lunch and a gift exchange. So, we ate some lunch and then put the boys down for quiet time while we did the gift exchange. Jake napped with the group though.

Becca got to choose the first gift...and it seemed like a lot of pressure for her.

After all the stealing and opening of gifts, Justin and I ended up with the folding wagon and a pepper mill handmade by my Uncle John. My mom and dad also gave both Justin and Kyle Poo-Pourri...funny!

Unfortunately, the weather was getting pretty bad, so everyone left earlier than normal. But we were so happy to have such a fun afternoon celebrating Christmas with family!
