A Texas Wedding
The morning of Saturday, March 2, we were able to relax a little at Justin's Aunt Shira's house. The boys were able to enjoy playing in the backyard for a while.
Then it was time to get ready and go to the wedding.

Here are the guys all dressed up.

We had time to go inside to see the other members of the wedding party as well as the bride. Garytt also found a few toys to entertain himself.

We had a little bit of time to get a few pictures with family. This is a great picture of Westyn with Aunt Shanna.

Justin, Garytt and Grandpa WD get a quick photo.

By then it was time for the wedding party to line up. While everyone was getting organized, Garytt found a stick to play with.

Justin walked Nanny in while WD followed.

Justin also walked his mother down the aisle.

Then the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked in.

Finally, it was time for Garytt to walk down the aisle. The other ring bearer wasn't interested in going down the aisle. So, it was just Garytt and the flower girl, who Garytt thought looked like a princess.

He did a great job walking down the aisle. Then he stood up front with the big guys while he waited for Justin and Ashley to come down the aisle, which isn't exactly how we practiced it but it worked.

Here comes the bride...

And so the wedding begins.

The first kiss...

On a side note, Westyn spent the wedding playing in the grass. I had several offers for other people to hold him while I took pictures and helped G. But really, Westyn and I just hung out in the back and he stayed happy and quiet playing in the grass.

Here's the new Mr. and Mrs. Welch!

Garytt and the flower girl are next back down the aisle.

The rest of the wedding party followed behind.

The wedding party congregated at the entrance while the rest of the guests visted and then headed to the reception site.

Then it was time to take some formal pictures. While we waited, Garytt found another stick to play with.
(Ok, I know I'm totally biased but boy does Garytt make a cute cowboy!)

The formal shots were a bit challenging because of the shadows created by the trees and harsh sunlight.

These are some pictures of the bride and groom that I borrowed from Facebook.

Congratulations to Josh and Ashley Welch! Now it's time to go party!
