My mom had a a cake made that looked like a movie marquee.
We tried to keep the decorations for the party in purple and green colors and keep in line with the movie theme.
As you can see on both the cake table and the gift table, there were even movie posters with images of Rebecca and Kyle superimposed on them. I thought those were pretty funny.
Rebecca liked the decorations and the cake table.
We played a few quick games at the shower. For the first game, I had people guess how many candies were in a container.
Then we played a short fill-in-the-blank game that consisted of movie titles with cleaning solutions in the title. For example: Crimson Tide. At the end of that game Bec received all the cleaning products, like Tide.
The final game was a charades style game. We had people hum love songs from movies and the teams had to guess the movie title and the movie it came from. This was pretty funny! It is harder to hum song than you think it will be. But everyone had a great time with it. This is a picture of Debbi and Casandra trying to hum one of the songs...mostly they were laughing.
Then it was time to have some cake! Our cousin Gavin really enjoyed the cake!
Then it was time to open some gifts.
We had time during the shower to just mingle as well.
