The boys immediately headed for the hay maze.
We wandered around for a bit and then headed to the corn maze. The boys were so adorable checking the map to see which direction to go. There was a big group in front of us but the boys didn't even check to see which direction they were going. I love the independent thinking and self-reliance.
We made it out of the corn maze successfully and then went over to the pumpkin stand. They were giving away one small pumpkin to each child. The boys were pretty excited! (Justin and I sort of wished we made that stop on the way out since we had to carry pumpkins around the rest of the time.)
While Westyn and I waited in the line for the tractor ride, Garytt went to see the chain saw demonstration. He even got to try it out!
We took the hay ride over to the large animal area. They had some smaller animals out for petting but there were several horses in the stalls that the kids could see. Both Garytt and Westyn loved this area but it was so crowded we only ended up with one picture.
We really enjoyed our afternoon at the South Farm. But, soon it was time to head home. Once the boys got home, we allowed them to decorate their pumpkins by drawing faces on them.
What a fun FREE afternoon!
