Halloween 2017

The boys were excited to get to dress up in scary costumes this year! Garytt was a skeleton and Westyn was a ghost.

The boys had a Cub Scout Halloween party a few days before Halloween so we were able to do a trial run of costume and makeup.

Westyn won one of the costume prizes for his den.

They all had fun playing games and hanging out with friends at the Halloween party.

The actual night of Halloween was so cold! In fact, it was snowing when we headed out to trick-or-treat! Fortunately, I found a black winter hat for Garytt and a white ear warmer for Westyn to wear along with their layers and layers of clothes under their costumes.

The cold weather didn't stop them from wanting to go out trick-or-treating.  However, Justin had no problem volunteering to be the one to stay in and hand out candy.

The boys and I headed out to collect some candy.

We made it to several blocks around our house before everyone got too cold. The boys were more than happy to come inside and check out their candy while watching Hocus Pocus. (Yes our t.v. was on the floor of the living room at the time since we were still having electrical upgrade throughout the house.)

It was a chilly but fun Halloween!
