Outdoor Fun in January

We had some unusually mild weather at the end of January. I took some pictures of the boys playing outside the day after Westyn's birthday...I just couldn't believe they only needed light jackets in January in Missouri!

They started on their scooters and in real jackets.


Pretty soon they switched to bikes...and got rid of the jackets. (Ok, I have to make a note here...I have no idea where my head was because I never, never let them ride without their helmets...I must have been laughing too hard about them needing those head lamps on to realize they didn't have helmets on!)


Last, they decided they wanted to try to roller skate...we did put helmets (and knee pads and gloves) on for this adventure!


I took a few videos of the skating because, lets be honest, it's pretty funny to watch them try to skate up our very slight incline on the driveway.


Who would have guessed we would be able to do all this outdoor fun in January?!
