Vacation Bible School

The week of July 14, Garytt was able to participate in Vacation Bible School through Columbia United Church of Christ (the same church that houses his preschool program). Unfortunately, we had scheduling conflicts and couldn't do VBS at our home church. But I was excited that he could participate in this one. Many of the volunteers were the teachers in his school! I have to say, he truly loved going!


Westyn got to go to the park every night while Garytt went to VBS...score!


And Westyn was allowed to have a snack every evening along with Garytt, too.


On the last evening, the parents were invited to come watch the kids do a little presentation. They sang songs and some of the older kids read parts. It was really cute and Garytt loved doing all the dances.


I took several videos of the songs too.


Each child received a certificate at the end. Garytt thought that was pretty cool.


Thanks to everyone who helps put on VBS at CUCC. Garytt had a great time!
