After a few prayers, the godparents making the sign of the cross, and Westyn receiving blessings with holy oils, it was time to be baptized in the holy water.
Apparently, Garytt was not too interested in the ceremony because he kept turning around to play with Uncle Kyle (who was kind enough to take all these pictures for us).
After a few more prayers and blessings, it was time to take some more pictures!

While we were finishing up the pictures, Justin was busy getting the lunch ready. We had about five kids around the ages of 2-6 that attended the baptism and they were all tired of sitting still and ready to eat! I have to say they all did a great job considering asking young kids to sit quietly for a whole mass and a baptism is a lot to ask!
Anyhow, we had a small buffet of pulled pork, some sides, and, of course, a cake!
After everyone ate, we all just hung out for a while. It was so great to see so many of our old friends!
After Garytt ate, he was running around with the other kids, having a great time! Someone took this shot and I'm sure it was an accident but it looks cool.
We even finally got a family picture where no one is crying.
Garytt decided he was going to help with the gift opening...
We want to thank everyone who shared this special day with us! Sadly, I didn't get pictures of everyone there but know that it means a lot to have such great family and friends!
I want to say a special thank you to Kyle who did a great job taking pictures for us!
