April Randomness

Garytt enjoyed warming in the sun in early April.

Apparently after his sun bathing, he thought it would be fun to play with Aggie's toy...and he got his hands stuck inside. Boys, boys, boys.

Watching a movie by the light of a lantern.

Garytt drew and ice factory...the boss has a frown on his face and the worker in the yellow hat is saying "what?" No idea where he comes up with this stuff but it cracks me up.

Westyn made this project for Dad's day at school. I'll never LEGO of your love."

On April 12, Garytt has his spring musical performance at school. It was titled "My Many Colored Days." Each class was given different colors to wear. He was to wear Red or Blue...so he wore a red shirt with blue pants.

Grandma and Grandpa even made the trip to come see his show.

We live about 2 min from the Martyrs. On many days, Westyn didn't seem to make it the whole way to pick up Garytt without falling asleep. Giving up naps is hard.

It's a rare morning when I get to spend some time with just Garytt. But there was a morning in April where one of Westyn's preschools was in session when Garytt had the day off. So, I took him for a morning treat.

In mid-April we went to the UNL rodeo. They had some activities for kids prior to the rodeo starting. The boys practiced roping, played in a rodeo barrel, and learned about some of the animals.

When it was time to take our seats for the rodeo, I think the boys were most excited about getting a bag of Doritos.

Rodeo time!

The boys had a short musical program with their Sunday school classes.

Sometimes you are just too tired...
