Sesame Street Live!

Westyn's Christmas "experience" gift from us was tickets to see Sesame Street Live! and a Super Grover t-shirt for both Westyn and Garytt. Thursday, January 9, we headed into Kansas City for the big show. Garytt was excited to wear his Elmo hat.

  Once we were in the Sprint Center, we wandered around a bit looking for the pre-show entertainment that we saw the last time we went to Sesame Street Live!. Unfortunately, this show didn't have any pre-show entertainment. So, the boys climbed on some giant cheese at the Price Chopper advertisement area.

  Then we took a few pictures of the boys in their Super Grover shirts. Garytt was into making silly faces and Westyn was too fascinated by the tickets to look at the camera.


We decided to go ahead and find our seats.  (Justin tweeted this picture and the local news re-tweeted it...the boys were famous!)

  Then, I decided to go back up and get some popcorn and water for a snack. The boys were all about the popcorn!  (They ate the entire tub of popcorn during the first half of the show and we got a refill at intermission!)


Show time!
 

The boys loved the show, especially Westyn! At one point, Westyn was standing up in his chair to dance and launched himself off the chair. Fortunately, he didn't get hurt...but we are going to have to watch this party animal in the future!


We had a great time at the show!
