We went to a splash pad in Texas the year before with Jenn and Isaiah Downing. Garytt was really unsure about it all but I was hopeful that this year would be better...and it was!
Both of the kids were timid at first, but then Garytt was totally soaked by the end!
Garytt was totally soaked and very cold by the time we decided it was time to quit. He didn't really want to quit but he didn't really want to be in the water anymore either because the water was pretty chilly and it wasn't really super hot that day. So, I made the executive mom decision to put him in dry clothes and let him go play on the playground for a bit.
After that, we headed to McDonald's for one last Happy Meal together. Then, as many of you read on my Facebook page, there was a strange guy there that was apparently offended that Westyn wasn't wearing shoes...it was creepy and irritating. But he left and we were able to enjoy the rest of our lunch.
We will miss getting together with Becky and K!
