2018 Pinewood Derby

The boys were excited to prepare their cars for the Pinewood Derby event. They did all their own preparations with very little help from us. I really think that it is important that they do the work and learn from the project.


February 10, 2018 was the Pinewood Derby event. The boys were dressed in their cub scout uniforms and had their cars ready!


The Lions went first. There were just two of them but they were excited to see their cars race.


Pretty soon it was Garytt's den's turn. They have a much larger den so there were quite a few more heats. They also asked each scout to stand and tell their name and how old they are.

Westyn ended won a trophy. He won 2nd place in his den...a den of two. He was excited nonetheless.
