Westyn's Second 1st Day of School

On Garytt's second day of kindergarten, it was Westyn's turn to go meet his preschool teacher at Martyrs. We met his teacher, and the kids were able to explore some of the toys.


The following week, on August 25, Westyn went to his first day of preschool at North American Martyrs. And this time, I even got his sign ready.


Here are the two boys heading off to Martyrs.


Garytt school starts in time for the kids to go to 8 a.m. mass and then preschool starts at 9. So, Westyn and I go to the school mass on Tues and Thurs mornings. Then we wait in the courtyard for the preschool teachers to come get them.


There they go!


And here he comes after school...such a big boy!


The teachers said that Westyn had no tears (and I think there were several kids who did). Of course, it helps that Westyn has been going to preschool for several years and he thought it was so cool to get to go to the same school as Garytt.
